This form was commonly associated with soda and mineral-water bottles, with the rounded bottom encouraging horizontal storage. Mouth blown, molded glass.

The glass has wonderful age and character, including abundant trapped air bubbles, subtle manufacturing irregularities, areas of cloudiness, and naturally developed iridescence. The pale blue-green aqua color and softly weathered surface give it a strong decorative presence, particularly for display in an antique bottle collection, on open shelving, or layered into rustic and collected interiors.
