An iridescent blown glass vase by Manhattan Beach, California glass artist Mayauel Ward. The tapered, fluted body sits on a footed base and draws in at a waisted neck before flaring open at the rim. The glass has real depth to it, with iridescence that reads luminous in shifting shades of blue and purple, and fading from opaque iridescence at the top to smoky translucence at the bottom.
