It features the profile of a wild boar, hand-engraved in impressive detail. The mouth is open to reveal tusks and the rough boar hair is intricately delineated. On the reverse side, a simpler version of the details can still be seen, contributing to the dimensionality of the pin. The boar has a tiny 1 mm ruby for an eye.

The pin is 2.5” long and weighs 3.35 grams. The boar’s head measures 1/2” x 1/2”. Marked 585 for 14k gold.

We decided to keep this piece in its original stickpin form, since so many stickpins go by the wayside. It looks great in a lapel or pocket, or even in a hat. The perfect piece for someone who loves truffles or truffle hunting. And the tiny bit of red detail in the ruby eye also makes it perfect for a Razorbacks fan! See less
