A Maitland Smith Leather Top Lion Head Console, 1990s. This handsome steel and brass console table is beautifully accented with a leather-embossed top. The detail of the tassels, the claw feet, and lion heads is spectacular. The scale and size would fit any living room, entryway, or library. The console table is structurally sound and in very good conditions.
The metal base is reminiscent of most desirable Egyptian revival pieces, each desk "leg" portrays a lions head and paw with a completely wrapped leather top,
The top is brown leather with tooled and gilt accents, rising on steel supports with brass lion heads and protruding paw feet joined by copper-finish steel rope with tassels its just amazing.
