This early 19th-century Federal or Sheraton sewing table blends timeless history with a touch of modern eclectic charm.
Crafted by hand between 1820 and 1835, it features a solid cherry wood top and slender, turned legs..... with a rich, historic patina.
The drawer fronts are adorned with striking crotch mahogany veneer, creating a dramatic flame-like contrast against the crisp cherry frame. The top drawer opens to reveal its rare, completely original fitted compartments and pockets, perfectly preserved for storing sewing notions, writing supplies, or jewelry.
Both drawers showcase precise hand-cut dovetails and retain their original turned wood knobs, secured from the inside with authentic single-slit slotted screws.
