Saw chair designed by Ole Gjerløv-Knudsen, 1958, for CADO Denmark. Birch wooden frame. Four parts sliding in each other. The seating angle can be changed by adjusting the parts more forward or afterwards. The seat and back, originally in canvas (which was too worn), have been reupholstered in thick high quality brown leather, and the original rope to keep the parts together into balance. This chair is characterized by a focus on simplicity, functionality, and craftsmanship, emphasizing clean lines and natural materials. Statement piece, and surprisingly comfortable.
