Frank Gehry-designed Cross Check Chair has a production date stamp of 5/25/92, and the Knoll / Gehry signature stamped underneath.
An exquisite design and conversation piece, this chair came into our home decades ago from a friend who worked as an executive for Knoll. It was manufactured in this dark green color, so that was original to this creation. It is possible that it was a prototype.
This chair is completely intact but will require restoration as the slats have become (unglued?) in spots.
