the warm wood grain and slender chrome structure give the chair a light, architectural character typical of scandinavian furniture from the period.

gilbert was designed as a stackable dining chair, using separately formed seat and back sections with gently curved profiles for comfort. The laminated construction remains visible along the edges, while the clear finish emphasises the pronounced grain of the brown-stained veneer. The contrast between the sculpted wood surfaces and polished tubular steel gives the chair its distinctive appearance.
