An 1830s amber cut glass decanter and stemware set attributed to Phineas Dummer of the Jersey Glass Company, Jersey City, New Jersey. This set is cut in the paneled slice-cut style typical of early American flint glass. The decanter's vertical panels deepen the amber tone and finish in a faceted mushroom stopper. The four sherry glasses and three goblets repeat that same panel cut on bell-shaped bowls, each set on a baluster stem and circular foot.
