A charming antique German porcelain plate with fluted body and decorated in cobalt blue stylized flowers, scrolling foliage and delicate linear borders. The pattern is Blau Modell (Strawflower).
Would be lovely hanging on a wall in a grouping of other plates.
MAKER'S MARK/ORIGIN: Crossed flags on the bottom for Rauenstein, Thuringia, Germany (sometimes confused with Meissen's crossed swords)
