Here is a small vintage lidded jar or trinket box by Suisse Langenthal. This rare porcelain piece is signed MLR under the lid. Features a burgundy red glaze with a hand-painted white petal star motif and gold finial. The Langenthal shield hallmark is on the base, along with 48 signifying the year it was made. A stunning piece of Swiss studio art porcelain!
Measures 2 1/2 inches tall without the handle (3 1/2 with) and 3 1/2 inches wide.
Great vintage condition. Some light fading of gold on rim. No chips, cracks or crazing.
