Spanning an extraordinary 128 inches — more than 10½ feet — when installed together, this matched teak system creates the visual presence of a custom architectural built-in while retaining the versatility of freestanding modular furniture.

The collection consists of three coordinating lower storage cabinets with removable upper bookcase/display sections. The centerpiece incorporates a beautifully conceived drop-front secretary desk, providing a substantial writing surface when open while disappearing seamlessly into the cabinetry when closed.

Behind and above the secretary are numerous open compartments and adjustable shelving, along with a pair of small sliding teak doors. The flanking modules provide generous open display and book storage above substantial sliding-door cabinets below.

Particularly beautiful is the teak itself. Warm amber and honey tones are complemented by dramatic grain patterns across the cabinet doors and horizontal surfaces, while the restrained recessed pulls allow the wood and proportions to remain the focus.

Thoughtful Danish details continue throughout, including adjustable shelving, fitted pull-out trays, original locking hardware and original key.

The modular construction provides considerable flexibility. Displayed together, the three sections form the monumental 128-inch installation shown. They may also be positioned independently or arranged according to the requirements of the room.

Good vintage condition consistent with age and use.
This approximately 60-year-old Danish system retains a beautiful overall presentation, with particularly attractive teak grain and color throughout the principal display surfaces.
Age-appropriate wear is present, including scattered surface scratches, small edge and corner losses, minor marks and other signs of previous use.
There are areas of veneer loss/damage to rear and other inconspicuous surfaces, including losses near one original maker's label, as photographed. These areas are substantially concealed when the system is installed against a wall and do not detract significantly from its impressive frontal presentation.
Additional minor veneer wear and small chips are present in isolated areas. Please review the detailed photographs as they form an important part of the condition description.
Cabinetry, sliding doors, secretary and storage components present beautifully overall. Original key is included.
The set has been intentionally preserved rather than aggressively refinished so that its vintage character, original materials, identification and patina remain intact.
