This charming quacker was designed with a scattering of holes to use for toothpicks and a clothes pin style bill for holding napkins. The duck is colorfully painted in red, blue and yellow with green and black highlights over a crackle finish. Robinhood Ware was known for painted wood serving pieces though animal shaped objects are a rarity. This little guy has a great folk art quality and due to age and peeling paint might best be enjoyed as a decorative object.

Good to fair condition with age related paint loss most notable around the clothes pin style green bill and the legs. The crackle finish is by design. Due to the peeling paint, I would recommend this piece be enjoyed as a decorative object and a piece of Americana rather than its original purpose.
