This pair of vintage blue metal shell-back grotto chairs brings a distinctive garden-inspired character to a dining area, entry, sunroom, or covered outdoor setting. Each chair features a sculptural shell motif backrest, gracefully curved cabriole legs, and scrollwork that gives the all-metal design a decorative, architectural presence. The weathered blue finish and developed patina add depth and charm while keeping the pair visually versatile in coastal, traditional, or eclectic interiors.
The chairs measure approximately 19.75 inches wide by 15 inches deep and 36 inches high, with a 15.5-inch seat height. Their surfaces show age-appropriate wear, including visible scuffs and areas of paint loss on the seats and legs. This finish variation is consistent with their vintage character. The frames are structurally sound, with no significant damage or repairs noted. Offered as a matching pair, they provide comfortable proportions and strong decorative appeal for a refined seating arrangement.
