Vintage Studio Pottery Ceramic Vase with a rounded, bulbous body, slightly flared neck, and understated vertical ridges that add tactile dimension to its handcrafted profile. The ceramic surface combines muted pale blue and earthy taupe tones with organic glaze variations, subtle unevenness, and a naturally aged patina. Its rustic, artisanal character suits a shelf, console, mantel, or tabletop arrangement, where the sculptural silhouette can be appreciated from every angle. A handwritten dedication on the base, “To Calvin from Mother,” adds a personal historical touch to this distinctive vintage vessel.
Measuring 8 inches wide by 8 inches deep and 9.25 inches high, the vase has a substantial yet approachable presence for a decorative display. It shows small surface scratches, light discoloration, and minor glaze inconsistencies consistent with age and prior handling. There are no significant chips or cracks, and the piece remains structurally sound and visually appealing. Its good overall condition, expressive patina, and studio pottery craftsmanship make it a characterful accent for collected interiors.
