Each piece is beautifully sculpted in substantial clear art glass with elongated, flowing forms that reflect the light beautifully. Original gold foil labels identify the pieces as Enesco Designed Giftware, © 1988 Enesco Imports Corp., Made in Taiwan R.O.C.

The 10-piece set includes:

• Joseph
• Baby Jesus

• Palm Tree
• Donkey
• Ox
• Three Kings / Wise Men

Figures range approximately 2.5" to 6.75" tall, with the larger figures being substantial pieces of glass weighing approximately 1 lb each.

CONDITION: Eight of the ten pieces are in exceptionally nice vintage condition and appear free of significant chips, cracks or repairs.

Joseph and one of the Three Kings are missing their heads. Because of the highly stylized and abstract design of these figures, the losses are surprisingly unobtrusive when the Nativity is arranged and displayed as a complete set. The collection continues to display beautifully as a whole. The damage is clearly disclosed and shown in the photographs for accuracy.

The remaining figures—including Mary, Baby Jesus, Angel, Palm Tree, Donkey, Ox and two Kings—are all very attractive examples and may also be particularly desirable as difficult-to-find replacement pieces for an existing Enesco Nativity.

Pieces from this particular vintage Enesco art glass Nativity are not commonly encountered. The distinctive Three Kings from this same design have been identified separately in the secondary market, while other individual figures from the collection can be difficult to locate.
