A combo cocktail/wine coaster and ashtray (with cigarette rest) allowed party-goers to keep their "smokes" at hand while enjoying a drink.

These clear, molded glass pieces consist of a 3.4" round coaster with 8 slightly raised rays eminating from the center. Connected to one side of the circular coaster by decorative scrolls is an oblong (2.8" x 1.5" x .75" deep) bowl with a semicircular cutout on one end. This bowl is where one would place one's cigarette/ash when taking a sip of a cocktail.

Fabricated by the iconic American glass manufacturer, The Fostoria Glass Company. The organization was founded in 1887 in Fostoria, OH then moved four years later to West Virginia where there was abundant natural gas available to fire their glass kilns. The company ceased operations in 1986.

Dimensions: overall, 4.6"w x 3.4"d x 1"h; coaster, 3.4"dia. x .6"h; ashtray, 2.8"w x 1.5"d x .75"h.

Condition: Excellent vintage condition with no chips, no cracks, no scratches. Possibly unused vintage stock.
