The vase features a … Read more This item is a Chinese porcelain landscape vase resting on a carved openwork wooden display stand. The vase features a stylized, elongated body with a narrow neck, intricately hand-painted with a traditional Chinese ShanShui (mountain-water) landscape. The scene depicts a prominent figure walking along a rocky path among pine trees, adjacent to traditional pavilion architecture. The top shoulder of the vase is finished with a striking dripped flambé or oxblood glaze, creating a rich red and brown gradient that bleeds down into the painted landscape. It is in very good vintage condition with normal age wear.
