A charming antique Canadian child's chair manufactured by Eastern Furniture Limited of Victoriaville, Quebec, a historic Canadian furniture manufacturer.

The chair features a tall ladder-style back with a turned wooden top rail, turned front legs, stretcher construction and a simple solid-wood seat. Its compact proportions identify it as a child's chair, rather than a standard adult side chair.

The original Eastern Furniture Limited / Victoriaville P.Q. manufacturer's label remains attached beneath the seat, adding provenance and interest.

The chair retains its original dark finish, with authentic age-related wear, surface marks, scratches and areas of finish loss that contribute to its aged character.
