Conceived as a stylized flowering fountain, the composition rises from a central sheath of pointed metal leaves, with slender stems extending upward and arching outward in successive tiers.

The branching framework carries clear glass flower heads, elongated faceted spears secured in coiled metal mounts, and cascading pendant drops suspended beneath faceted glass beads. Upright ornaments punctuate the silhouette, while the downward sweep of the suspended drops gives the arrangement its fountain-like character. The open construction allows the individual flowers, stems, and pendants to remain clearly defined against one another.

The architectural base provides a contrasting foundation for the delicate spray. Its black front is embellished with a gold-finished drapery swag, tassels, and floral mounts, while a pierced metal gallery surrounds the frosted glass top. Rounded metal feet lift the box slightly above the supporting surface. Concealed illumination within the base diffuses through the translucent glass panels, lighting the ornament from below and emphasizing the contrast between the warm metal framework and clear faceted glass.
