The design features a serene pastel aqua/seafoam green rim against a clean, crisp white porcelain body, perfectly framed by double platinum metallic bands.This extensive estate collection provides a comprehensive service for 8, plus an expanded array of host pieces—including two complete sets of salt and pepper shakers to anchor both ends of a large dining table. This set comes with remarkable historical provenance: it includes the original 1958 Nancy Prentiss "The Perfect Hostess" vintage informational booklet detailing proper table settings, complete with the original owner's customized order handwritten in pencil on the inside cover, alongside the original intact product warranty document.The glaze is beautifully glossy throughout. Inherently vintage items show light, expected signs of age. This set features one very small, shallow chip on the rim of a serving platter and two tiny areas where the platinum gilding has minor rubbing from historical stacking.
