This mid-century Mexican articulated fish pocket tool/bottle opener scales down the iconic full-size Taxco bar sculptures into a highly collectible format. Handcrafted with a solid brass frame (distinguished by its warm, golden age patina), and alpaca silver mouth. The flexible segmented torso is inlaid with brilliantly iridescent mosaic tiles of genuine abalone shell. Every brass rivet is secure, letting the little fish fluidly flex and wiggle in your palm. Designed with versatility in mind, the open brass mouth functions as a micro bottle-cap lifter, while the integrated top loop near the tail fin makes it ideal for use as a pocket charm, luxury keyring attachment, or a statement pendant on a thick necklace chain.
