The dove grey surface highlights curved black bentwood open arms, dove grey linen upholstery, characteristic of Czech Republic furniture making in the art deco tradition, of the art deco period. The gentle wear across its surface was earned over real decades of use, not applied for effect, and it only adds to the piece's presence. Pieces of this age were made to outlast a single household, and each one carries the quiet imprint of the hands and years that came before. It is one of the better decisions you can make for the planet as well as your home, since furniture built this solidly rarely needs replacing. It is well suited to a living room seating group or reading nook. See less
