An exquisite and finely detailed antique Royal Vienna porcelain cabinet plate, beautifully hand-painted by the highly collectible studio artist H. Seele. This substantial 10.5-inch display piece features a vibrant cobalt blue border meticulously embellished with raised gold-gilt classical urn and foliate motifs. At its center is a masterful, romantic pastoral painting titled "Arcadian Scenery," capturing a beautifully rendered shepherd and shepherdess resting in a lush landscape with their flock.
The central artwork is signed by the artist in the lower right quadrant. The reverse of the plate features the iconic underglaze blue Royal Vienna shield (beehive) mark, the hand-painted pattern title "Arcadian Scenery" in deep red script, and an impressed numeric mark "22".
