Mythological red-figure decoration on glossy black … Read more Greek Revival set of three amphora vases by Bates, Brown-Westhead, and Moore, England, 1859-1861. Mythological red-figure decoration on glossy black background on white porcelain. Tall vase shows Mercy and with gilt mark of maker in a circle and painter's marks "F 375." All with fully developed figures on each side. One with an old, re-glued rim chip and the back figure eroded. Smaller vases marked "F 328." Small vases: 4.25" h., 3.5" x 3.25" dia. Large vase: 5.25" h., 4.5" x 4.25" dia. See less
