Very rare (limited edition, 13/50) vintage "double" Portland Wedgwood Portland blue jasperware full-size large royal Portland Vase with a man wearing a Phrygian cap beneath the base. In addition to the cameo at the bottom, the vase is decorated with the classical white “Peleus and Thetis” relief. The vase is in excellent used condition. There is no visible damage of any kind, just minimal normal age-appropriate wear. Relief does not have visible crazing, fire cracks, or other common manufacturing defects. Dimensions: top/W/bottom(Dia) = 3 7/8" / 7 1/4 / 5", H=10 1/4".
Vase is marked: "WEDGWOOD", "Made in England", "No 13 AW 73", and some other potter marks; 1973.
