An elegant, slim bar cabinet from France, dating from the Art Deco period, likely around 1930–1935. The piece is veneered with richly grained hardwood (probably rosewood) and is distinguished by its clean, vertically emphasized architecture and unusually narrow form.
The original, or rather period-typical, transparent glass handle with light-colored spacers is particularly decorative, creating a striking contrast to the dark-grained rosewood. Behind the door is a functional interior with shelves for bottles, glasses, and bar accessories.
The understated, geometric design combines the luxurious materials of French Art Deco with a distinctly modernist aesthetic.
