A set of six vintage italian highball glasses by interglass, each handmade in italy and richly decorated with genuine 24k gold.
the glasses are hand crafted in a deep ruby-red heavy lead crystal, 24%pbo, with exceptionally substantial, weighted bases.
each is encircled by an elaborate neoclassical garland design composed of laurel swags, ribbons and tassels, complemented by a broad gilded rim.
the opulent decoration gives the set a distinctive hollywood regency character while drawing inspiration from classical italian and french decorative arts.
each glass weighs approximately 480 grams, giving the set a notably luxurious and reassuring quality in the hand. Their tall proportions make them suitable for highball cocktails, long drinks, water or an elegant home bar display.
all six glasses retain their original interglass labels reading “hand made in italy – 24k gold,” which adds considerably to the desirability of the set and indicates that they have seen very limited use.
