The tapestry depicts a romantic medieval-inspired hunting and garden scene, with elegantly dressed figures on horseback, a lady in a vivid red gown, ornamental trees and flowering plants, a small castle in the background, and a stream with a hunting dog. The composition is framed by lush vegetation and rendered in a beautiful palette of terracotta red, olive green, sage, cream, ochre and brown.
