This is an authentic 1960s Founders Furniture rolling bar cart, marked with the "FOUNDERS" maker's stamp inside the drawer. The walnut cabinet has a black laminate top that slides and flips open, nearly doubling the serving surface.
Features:
Walnut cabinet with rich original grain
Expanding top opens to a generous serving and drink-prep surface
Divided cutlery drawer plus a second storage drawer
Double doors open to adjustable shelving for bottles, glassware, and bar tools
Ball casters roll smoothly between rooms
Solid brass hardware and hinges
The cart works equally well as a bar, a buffet server, or an entry console or credenza. It is also well suited as a media cabinet.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition with light age-appropriate wear and minor surface scuffing on the top (shown in photos). It is structurally solid: the doors open smoothly, the drawers glide well, and the casters roll freely.
Dimensions: 40" W x 18" D x 29" H closed; 64" W open.
