Authentic 1980s Tessellated Travertine Marble Console Table.
A great example of the artisan-made, unique and modern luxury pieces in the 1980s.
This console table design is a parsons-like form but this sleek piece also has a large bevel around the top surface plus other angled surfaces; giving an overall faceted (gemstone) feel.
In addition, the shiny solid brass accent detail inset around the top subtly adds an elegant metallic vibe.
No markings, but we believe this table was likely crafted in 1980s Philippines where artisans created pieces for companies like Maitland-Smith and designers like Karl Springer among others.
An all-original piece with superb artisan craftsmanship in great overall shape with only age-appropriate minor surface wear here and there; occasional minor rubs, scratches, marks, edge chips etc.
