This striking tobacciana piece features a rich satin black glaze accented with fine gold trim bands. The body is decorated with meticulously detailed, hand-painted portraits of classic sporting dogs—including a Setter and a Spaniel—making it an exceptional find for collectors of equestrian, hunting, or canine-themed decor. The top is fitted with its functional, authentic brass-toned mechanical screw-top compression bar mechanism designed to seal in moisture. The underside is cleanly stamped with the official Cross Keys "Made in England" makers mark along with an incised "H" model/potter mark. A perfect masculine accent for a library desk, bar cart, or mantle shelf. I love the various dogs. See less
