A 1950s sueded leather wall hanging made of coffee-brown strips in randomized lengths and widths. The strips are woven into a cotton backing, a mid-century textile art technique that turns a flat panel into a piece with depth and movement. The finished textile is stitched onto canvas and mounted on a wood stretcher frame, reading as much as a wall sculpture as a woven piece.
