Pair of Vintage Cast Bronze Siamese Soldier Candle Holders
Each measures 2 1/4" wide, 3 1/2" deep and 11" tall.
Each will hold a 1" diameter candle.
This is a vintage pair of cast bronze figural candle holders, depicting Siamese/Thai soldiers or courtiers holding torches. Designed in the mid-to-late 20th century in Thailand (Siam) as decorative art export pieces. Solid patinated cast bronze. Two mirrored male figures standing on round pedestals, wearing traditional armor and holding a tall torch-style bobeche designed to hold a standard taper or pillar candle.
