The body is decorated with a loose, incised leaf or reed motif, several thin vertical strokes cut through the glaze that catch the light differently than the surrounding surface, giving it a hand-worked, organic feel. The neck is short with a rolled, slightly uneven lip, consistent with hand-thrown pottery. See less
