A sculptural 1970s porcelain orchid bowl by Oregon studio potters Alan and Brenda Newman. The organic botanical form is elevated on small integrated feet and finished in a striking cream, jade green and black microcrystalline-style glaze.
A beautiful example of American studio pottery with Art Nouveau and organic modern influences. Signed on the underside and presented in excellent vintage condition.
