A lovely early English ice caddy made by Baret Ware (BW Co.) in the China Gardens pattern.

We love the black Asian Chinoiserie pattern in a glossy lacquer finish.
The interior has a glass metal container for the ice.
Believed to be tin with a lacquered finish.

The lid has a top knob and the handle moves up and down.
Baret Ware Co. was a renowned English brand during the mid-20th century that produced decorative, collectible tins and serving trays, often featuring vibrant lithographed designs of flowers, animals, and scenes.
