Striking vintage oil on canvas depicting a reclining spotted big cat—likely a leopard or jaguar—set among lush tropical foliage and rocky terrain. The animal is rendered with particularly fine detail throughout the face, eyes, coat and whiskers, contrasting beautifully against the saturated green landscape.
The painting is housed in an elaborate black and antiqued-gold frame with raised scrolling foliate ornamentation and decorative corner elements, giving the piece a dramatic Old World look.
