Elegant pair of vintage Baker Furniture Neoclassical nightstands, dating to approximately the 1960s and retaining their original Baker Furniture metal plaques.
Executed in richly figured warm-toned wood, the tables feature beautifully framed veneer tops, single drawers with substantial round brass rosette pulls, and open lower storage shelves. Classical columnar front supports are accented with brass detailing at the capitals and bases, lending the pair a restrained French Empire influence.
The proportions are particularly versatile at 24 inches wide, allowing these to function beautifully as bedside tables, end tables or occasional tables. The open lower compartments provide useful storage while keeping the design visually light.
