Collector's Note on Provenance:The base retains its original, handwritten vintage studio inventory label reading "84 AK / 975 / ITTM / Bird." The designation "975" explicitly confirms its production during the series' initial 1975 debut launch, offering impeccable, highly sought-after provenance that drastically separates it from later, unsigned reproductions. The initials "AK" denote the specific Kosta Boda master artisan glassblower assigned to the piece.
Dating precisely to the collection's inaugural release in 1975, this hand-blown sculpture features a beautifully rounded, weighted body rolled in a multi-colored speckled powder frit. This process creates a mottled pattern of white, black, and cobalt blue, balanced by a vibrant applied solid orange-red beak. The base retains its vintage inventory label marked with the model/year series details. Perfect as a standalone tabletop sculpture, a bookshelf accent, or a substantial statement paperweight. See less
