The compact yet remarkably substantial object weighs over 2.7 kg and features an expressive stylized horse with elongated body, folded legs and strongly modelled head.

Its construction allows the piece to be displayed as a decorative sculpture or used as a substantial bookend. When positioned horizontally, the curved body also creates a recessed surface suitable as a valet or trinket tray.

The brass retains its naturally developed patina, with dark surface variations contrasting against golden highlights and emphasizing the character of the casting.

The object is intact and remains in very good vintage condition.
