1950s birch trolley, model PB01, designed by Cees Braakman for Pastoe, Netherlands. This elegant and functional trolley reflects Braakman’s refined approach to post-war Dutch design, combining clean lines with practical functionality. Crafted in birch, the trolley has a warm and understated appearance, while its carefully considered proportions make it both decorative and highly useful.
Model PB01 is a beautiful example of the modernist design language developed by Cees Braakman during his influential period at Pastoe. The top surface shows some moisture damage, which is consistent with its age and history of use and adds to its authentic vintage character.
