This piece is an antique flame mahogany chest of drawers featuring four graduated drawers accented with brass ring pulls and keyhole escutcheons. It has square tapered legs. It was made during the early 19th century, its style puts it in the Federal period. The drawer pulls may not be original but they are from the same period and are very handsome.
This piece once belonged to a prominent Boston interior decorator.
