Double-walled construction gives it real structure — it stands on its own and holds its shape. The paired handles run the full height of the body and anchor at the base, so it carries weight properly rather than straining at the rim.

The exterior has darkened over decades to a deep smoky brown with lighter honeyed passages where hands and bodies wore it smooth, while the interior wall retains its original pale honey tone — the differential aging that comes only from genuine use and traditional storage.
