Rare and versatile antique Dresden porcelain figural piece, meticulously crafted by the legendary Carl Thieme factory (Potschappel, Saxony, Germany).
This stunning piece features a unique, tiered multi-tube pyramid layout that holds up to 19 individual items. While originally designed as a luxury tobacciana cigarette holder stand, it also functions beautifully as a dual-purpose flower frog or tulipiere style bud vase for small, delicate stems. The multi-tube riser is elegantly supported by three finely sculpted, classic white porcelain cherubs (putti). The entire figural group stands on an ornate, scalloped presentation dish heavily accented with hand-painted gold gilt foliage overlays against a striking, vibrant pink ground.
The underside features multiple historic backstamps: the official Carl Thieme mark, design registration stamps ("Déposé Registered"), and a high-end luxury retailer stamp for The Ovington Brothers Company, New York, showing it was imported directly for elite American estates during the late 19th to early 20th century.
This is an exceptional cross-collectible piece perfect for advanced Dresden art porcelain enthusiasts, luxury Tobacciana collectors, or anyone seeking a unique, conversation-starting desk accessory or floral tabletop centerpiece.
