Featuring a highly sculpted, organic silhouette, this petite vessel functions beautifully as an elegant sauce boat, a small centerpiece bowl, or a distinct decorative accent piece.

Design & Artistry

The piece showcases a fluid, shell-molded body finished in an exquisite polychrome palette. The luminous, glass-like lead glaze transitions seamlessly from a vibrant, fresh-green interior to a soft romantic pink exterior. The scalloped rim and split-branch handle are highlighted with high-relief, embossed scrolling acanthus details in shades of warm brown and chartreuse green. The entire vessel rests elegantly upon a heavily sculpted, footed pedestal base finished in a deep wine-red glaze.

Markings & Authenticity

The underside features a thick green glaze and bears an authentic, period-accurate impressed "Austria" country-of-origin stamp confirming its Turn-of-the-Century European manufacturing heritage. Adjacent to the stamp is a hand-written underglaze pattern or decorator inventory notation. See less
