Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this RARE Antique American Art … Read more Fresh from a New York City estate, we have a great pleasure to offer you this RARE Antique American Art Nouveau Bronze Base & Rose Overlay Stained / Slag Glass Shade HANDEL LAMP. Phenomenal example of Handel work, this being a model # 559. It is a large lamp standing 19.5" tall, featuring an awesome "honey yellow" glass with rose overlay floral designs. The shade is 16" diameter wide, and 8.25" tall on it's own. Lamp body is made of bronze metal, having dark chocolate brown patina, with Art Nouveau vine leaf designs. The base diameter is 7.125". Lamp is in working condition, a single bulb socket with a pull chain. It is in very good overall condition, showing light age / use wear, light wear on bronze from handling (please see photos). With lights on, or with lights off, this Handel lamp is absolutely gorgeous, will be a great addition to any Tiffany lamp collection and a gem in any traditional or vintage mid-century modern setting in home or office.
