Design Plus Gallery presents a Mission Viejo Double Mule Chest from Kimball Home. This Mission-style chest is constructed in oak and showcases prominent wood grain throughout the frame, drawer fronts, and paneled sides. The broad rectangular top is bordered by a raised gallery rail along the back, while the architectural side panels and squared framework reflect Arts and Crafts design influences. The chest offers twelve drawers in a symmetrical configuration, including four smaller upper drawers and eight spacious lower drawers. Each drawer is built using dovetail joinery and includes aromatic cedar-lined interiors. Blackened metal bail pulls mounted on rectangular backplates complement the oak construction and reinforce the Mission-inspired character of the design. A Kimball maker’s plaque is attached inside one of the drawers. This is a discontinued model with the brand and is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage. Made in the USA.
