What adds interest to this mirror is the unusual yew wood of the frame, which has a lovely color and features a wonderful "peppered" grain. Also, the frame of this mirror is slightly rounded, sometimes called a "cushion" frame, which adds depth and interest. The mirror is wired on the back but also features a 2-part self bracket, which offers another way to hand the mirror on the wall other than the wire. But, as mentioned, this would also make a great full-length dressing mirror used on the floor. The size is: 46.25" wide x 59" high and
3.5" deep. This mirror was purchased from an English workshop that is no longer in business during a European buying trip in the early 2000s. This mirror was used as a display piece in our high-end furniture/interiors design showroom. It was never sold and remained on display and is in excellent shape. . Any small imperfections or scratches are consistent with age and its use in a furniture/interiors design studio. See less
