A beautifully complete Reed & Barton "Winthrop" (pattern #1795) silverplate tea and coffee service — four matched pieces centered on a rare tilting hot water kettle with its original stand and fully functional burner. The Winthrop pattern is prized for its Victorian-revival lines: bulbous melon-form bodies, gracefully scrolled C-shaped handles and legs, and whimsical pumpkin-form finials accented with squash blossoms.
